Today’s episode title was inspired by one of my favorite shows, Fixer Upper.
The content was inspired when I was taking my husband to the airport and he got the day he was coming back wrong. He hadn’t requested the day off. I immediately began to think “I have to fix this!” before I took a deep breath and realized it wasn’t my problem to fix.
- Acknowledge who you try to fix
- Be aware when you are attempting to fix a situation
- Practice self reflection and why you feel the need to fix
- Become present. Are there any fears you can address?
- Create a plan to stop fixing
- Put energy to improving your life
