Are you overwhelmed with keeping up with day-to-day activities in your life? Do you work outside the home and also in charge of keeping your household running smoothly? Did you miss a soccer practice because calendars weren’t coordinated? Would you like to reduce your stress and get more done?
Working and running a household takes time, energy and effort. Even though I run my business from my home, I am still in charge of the day-to-day running of the household. My organization skills definitely help keep my family on track. Luckily, organizing skills are something that can be learned and help you life run more smoothly. Organizing skills aren’t the only thing that can help you with household management.
I am also a fan of routines. Routines build good habits, increase our efficiency by getting more done in less time and can reduce clutter by easing your mind and reducing your stress. They help us focus to get the important things done. You save time if you do things regularly instead of letting everything pile up.
With organizing, scheduling and routines, household management seems like less of a chore and allows you to spend more time on things that you enjoy!
Here are some of the ways I can support you in household management:
- Getting organized
- Setting up a calendar system
- Creating a list of routines that fit your lifestyle
- Time management
- Making a household command center
- Bill management
- Kids activities
If you need help setting a household management system, call me at 919.559.3925 to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation. I am available to consult with you via Phone, FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangouts on Air.
HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT TIP: Have one central calendar for everyone. You can use an online version such as Google calendar or a paper one, or dry erase calendar. If you have a paper or dry erase calendar keep it in your command center.
