Julie Coraccio has worked for years as an organizer whether it was for hire, barter, or rescuing family and friends from their clutter nightmares. What started the professional organization and clutter free ball rolling? Many years ago Julie was a nanny for a couple in Massachusetts. She juggled two children and their schedules, as well as running a household. One day, early on, she left the house without a complete and organized diaper bag – and that was all it took. From her experiences as a nanny, her need to organize grew. Soon, not only was her home organized, but family and friends were asking her to help them as well. People loved living clutter free lives!
In 2009, she took the plunge and started her business Healing through Organization. Her clutter free living business has grown as she overcame her fear of public speaking and taught classes and workshops. Clients also were asking for deeper work and so she started personal development coaching. She completed a one-on-one Mentorship Program in Expanded Consciousness. She now offers both individual and group coaching.
Meanwhile, former clients were contacting her to write grants, press releases and social media copy. For 13 years Julie had been a grant writer and Director of Development successfully raising millions for non profits. While building her organizing business, it made sense to continue writing when people wanted to hire her. She enjoys the right/left brain balance that both grant writing and creative writing provide. She is a graduate of the The Grantsmanship Center’s Certification Grants Training Program in Los Angeles, CA, and has taken classes at the University of Southern California’s Professional Writing Program.
In August 2011, she was invited to create and host an online international TV show. She decided she always enjoyed learning about body, mind & soul topics and decided to name the show Reawaken Your Brilliance. The show continued to grow and she is excited to embark on the next phase, which will be announced shortly.
During the past 5 years she discovered that she enjoyed the variety that professional organizing, coaching, writing and interviewing people brought. She is able to bring her expertise in those areas to allow her clients to share their gifts with the world. In all her endeavors, her goal is to help people reawaken their brilliance.
When she is not working with clients, Julie loves to read, write, hike, host dinner parties, learn more about environmental issues and spend time with her nieces Clare and Emma and nephew Max. Julie also loves cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, WVU Mountaineers, Pittsburgh Pens and the Carolina Hurricanes! She is happily married to Anthony and discovering the joys of pets with their cat Joey.
She is a graduate of Leadership Raleigh Class 24 and has served as alumnae club chapter President of her alma mater, Mount Holyoke College.
